THE SAILING SEASON IS HERE....
Published 12:00am on 11 Mar 2020
After a winter of storms and record-breaking rainfall, Springtime is finally here and the regular Club season kicks-off this Sunday (15th March) with the first day of the Tune-up Series. Don't worry if you're a little rusty, or just want to try-out racing, come on down and enjoy yourself on the water, or at the very least enjoy some refreshments and chat in the Clubhouse (or on the deck if the sun comes out).
If this Sunday is too much, the first Social Sail is on Saturday 11th April, when our fleet of free-to-use Club Boats will be available (including our new single-handed RS Neo dinghies and our double-handed and family-friendly RS Quest dinghies).
For those looking to paddleboard, or simply to try-out paddleboarding for the first time, our first SUP session of the season is on Friday 10th April (no experience necessary). RC Sailing continues through the season, as usual.
To find out more about what is on, and when, just check out the Club Calendar.
For those who prefer Informal Sailing, Members are free to come and enjoy the lake at their convenience with access to Club Boats, facilities and a Safety Boat.
