If you would like to know more about Redesmere Sailing Club, or are interested in becoming a member, please feel free to visit the Club and have a look around.
The best time to visit the Club is generally on any of our frequent Social Sailing events, as there is normally at least one General Committee member around on these days who could show you around and answer any questions you may have. Any Sunday race day is also a good time to visit and find out more. Again, there will always be someone to speak to – you might just have wait until they come off the water at the end of the current race!

Redesmere offers excellent training courses to its members, following the range of RYA sailing schemes. Courses are delivered by fully qualified instructors who will tailor training to suit your needs.
Redesmere is a Club is run by members for members! Members are normally required to undertake a three duties each year, principally race management and safety cover. Courses specific to these duties are available for you to familiarise yourself with what is required. If you are unable to do your duty it is your responsibility to arrange a swap, normally via the web-based duty management system. Members are also expected to participate in at least two working parties each year; there is always plenty to do for everyone irrespective of skill, experience or strength, and these events are always a good opportunity to catch up with friends.
