If you would like to know more about Redesmere Sailing Club, or are interested in becoming a member, please feel free to visit the club and have a look around.
The best time to visit the Club is generally on any of our frequent Social Sailing events, as there is normally at least one General Committee member around on these days who could show you around and answer any questions you may have. Dates and times of Social Sailing events can be found on the Calendar page. Alternatively a Sunday race day is also a good time to visit and find out more. Again, there will always be someone to speak to – you might just have wait until they come off the water at the end of the current race!

Alternatively, feel free to contact us using the form below and one of us will get back to you, as soon as practical.
Redesmere offers excellent training courses to its members, following the RYA national sailing scheme. Courses are delivered by fully qualified instructors who will tailor training to suit your needs.
The Club is run by members for members! Members are required to undertake a minimum of two duties each year, including; race management, safety cover and galley duties. Courses specific to these duties are available for you to familiarise yourself with what is required. If you are unable to do you duty it is your responsibility to arrange a swap and inform the Sailing Secretary. Members are also obliged to participate in at least two working parties each year; there is always plenty to do for everyone irrespective of skill, experience or strength, and it is always a good opportunity to catch up with friends.
