Training Programme & Course Application
Training courses are available to all Club members. Details of this year's courses can be found in the annual Training Programme and the Training Calendar. Booking for training places opens in February and is online application only, via this website. Please read Course bookings terms and conditions
Early application is strongly recommended, as places for first preference courses are allocated strictly on a first come first served basis. The full course fee is due with the application. The number of places on each course depends on the availability of instructors and the number of boats available, as well as the age and experience of the candidates involved. If a course is over-subscribed, you will be placed on a waiting list and advised as soon as a place becomes available or if additional places are added to the course. In the event that no place becomes available, the course fee will be refunded.
All course members are required to purchase the relevant RYA logbooks, if they do not already possess them from previous training courses. Also recommended, and available, are the companion handbooks which give more details of the syllabi and detailed training guidance.
If you would like more information about training course content or delivery, please contact Rachel Ward, Training Principal.
