Christmas blows in to Redesmere...

Thanks to everyone who attended the Christmas Meal and sailed in the Inaugrual Christmas Race on Sunday 8th December.Thanks to the wonderful food and drinks; turkey roll, mince pies, cakes and mulled wine prepared and served by the Social Team, a great Christmas feel was created to celebrate the end of the sailing season.Before the meal, the Inaugural Christmas Race took place with first over the line winners for adult, junior and double hander. Despite Storm Darragh doing its best to blow everyone off course, 13 boats decorated in Tinsel and sailors wearing Christmas hats took part. It gave a very special feel to the end of season sailing. A special thanks to the OD Team for keeping track of the Christmas Race and the last Frost Bite race. Also to the 2 safety boats who were kept busy!
