Following review of the latest UK Government Covid-19 guidance and the RYA's 'Return to Boating: Be Considerate, Be Conservative' advice, Redesmere SC has reopened on a limited basis for Informal Sailing (and SUP) activities.

The Club has put measures in place to support Social Distancing and hygiene recommendations and Members are now able to sail on the lake in their own boats 'at their own risk,' although we urge all Members to comply with the latest and emerging Government advice. Currently, during this first phase of reopening, Club facilities are limited to toilet access and, obviously, First Aid and emergency facilities. Further details are available in the Club's Phase 1 Reopening Guidelines.

The main Club Calendar of supported Social Sailing, RYA Training, regular Racing and social events remains suspended and Club Boats (excluding Safety Boats) remain out of use to Members. The Club has a phased plan for return to our full calendar as soon as circumstances allow and Covid-19 guidance supports.

If you are interested in what our planned, but suspended, 2020 Club Calendar included a copy can be downloaded here. Similarly, a copy of our suspended 2020 Training course programme can be downloaded here. No bookings for Training courses are being taken at the moment.
