Following review of the latest UK Government Covid-19 guidance and the RYA's 'Return to Boating: Be Considerate, Be Conservative' advice, Redesmere SC reopened on 29th March with a full calendar of Informal Sailing, Social Sailing and Racing, plus our usual SUP and RC sailing sessions. Club coaching and mentoring sessions, led by our team of qualified RYA Instructors, return from 1st May, whilst our expanded programme of RYA Training courses resumes 19th May.

At this stage of the Roadmap out of Lockdown, the Rule of Six applies onshore and, when on the water, sailors should only share a boat with members of their household bubbles. Use of the Clubhouse is currently restricted to toilet access, First Aid and emergency facilities, although the Galley and Bar are expected to reopen for takeaway service and snacks from 12th April.

The Club has put measures in place to support Social Distancing and hygiene recommendations and Members are able to sail on the lake 'at their own risk' at any time, although we urge all Members to comply with the latest and emerging Government advice. Further details are available in the Club's Reopening Guidelines & FAQs.

A selection of photographs from last years sailing events are available from our Gallery.
