The Sailing Season is Here....
Published 12:00am on 10 Mar 2019
After a winter of storms and record-breaking temperatures, Spring is finally here and the regular Club season kicks-off this Sunday (17th March) with the first day of the Tune-up Series. Don't worry if you're a little rusty, or just want to try-out racing, come on down and enjoy yourself on the water, or at the very least enjoy some refreshments and chat in the Clubhouse (or on the deck if the sun comes out).
If this Sunday is too much, the first Social Sail is on Saturday 13th April, when our fleet of free-to-use Club Boats will be available (including our new double-handed and family-friendly RS Quest dinghies).
For those looking to paddleboard, or simply to try-out paddleboarding for the first time, our first SUP session of the season is on Friday 5th April (no experience necessary), with a Familiarisation and Training session available on Saturday 6th April. RC Sailing continues through the season, as usual.
To find out more about what is on, and when, just check out the Club Calendar.
For those who prefer Informal Sailing, Members are free to come and enjoy the lake at their convenience with access to Club Boats, facilities and a Safety Boat.
Club Calendar 2019
The Club Calendar has been available for download via the website Members' Library since February. If you would prefer to collect, rather than print, a traditional hard copy, these are also available for collection from the Clubhouse
See you on the water,
