Open Racing

Open Meetings consist of 3 races, with the first race starting at 11.00am. The Race Briefing is normally held at 10.30am, .

Event details and the latest information, including Open Event Sailing Instructions and Entry Forms, is available from the Calendar of Open Events and from the Members' Library.

The Club Dinghies are available to Members for Open Racing free of charge and without pre-booking - simply Turn-up, Rig and Race! All we ask is that you have fun, the boats are treated with respect and that all Club equipment is returned to the correct place when finished with. If there are any problems or breakages (accidents do happen!) these should be reported promptly to the Facilities Team, so that repairs can be carried out before the next sailing session.

Open Meetings this year include,

Laser Open (part of the Laser Northern Grand Prix and in conjunction with the Laser Class Association)

Solo Open (in conjunction with the Comet Open)

Comet Open (part of the Comet Northern Aphelion Series)

North West Junior & Youth Traveller (part of the North West Junior & Youth Traveller Series), formerly the NWJTT Series
