On the 7th September, the Topper Travellers and RYA North West Junior & Youth Travellers come to Redesmere for round 8 of the 10 round series. The NWJYT is multi-class tour, geared towards enjoyable racing, encouraging RYA Zone Qualification and with on the water support for those new to racing. Typical classes include Optimist, Topper, RS Feva, Laser and RS200, although all are welcome, with prizes awarded in U11, U14, U16 and U19 categories. Coaching is available at the back of the fleet, along with a Lead Boat at the start of each race.

As usual a friendly welcome awaits all attendees, along with a vibrant atmosphere. As usual, welcome tea & toast etc will be available and our Social Team will be providing its usual excellent lunch. (From a parents' point of view, it's worth attending for the food alone!).

There is no need to pre-register, participants can simply turn-up on the day and make themselves known to the Officer of the Day, Rachel, or Club Sailing Secretary Phil or catch one of our own youth sailors who will then point you in the right direction. Further information can be found at Redesmere Topper Travellers & NWJYT.

There will be a number of Redesmere's own sailors participating, including the current series leader, Tom Brindley.
