Wednesday Onboard Youth Club Training

18:00 - 20:30

These 6 Wednesday evening sessions are an opportunity for those with sufficient sailing skills to improve their sailing and join in the racing while supported by a coach.

Aimed at juniors aged 11 and above, the focus of the sessions will be racing and Seamanship skills. Sailing is done in a mixture of single-handed and two-handed boats.

RYA Certificates can be awarded if candidates are sailing at the required level.

Redesmere Sailing Club is an RYA Training Centre committed to providing high quality training for both adults and children.

Our accreditation enables us to teach and examine candidates under various RYA training schemes. These include: the National Dinghy Sailing Scheme; the Youth Sailing Scheme; the Powerboat Scheme and the Emergency First Aid Scheme.

Our dedicated training team of volunteers consists of qualified RYA instructors and assistant instructors who deliver all of our RYA training courses.
