Powerboat Familiarisation Training is offered to all members who have not had experience of driving a powerboat or those who need a refresher. This course is essential to all members to understand what is expected when doing Club Safety Boat duties.
Places are limited and it is strongly recommend that this course is attended to gain the bare essentials required to drive a safety boat.

Redesmere Sailing Club is an RYA Training Centre committed to providing high quality training for both adults and children.
Our accreditation enables us to teach and examine candidates under various RYA training schemes. These include: the National Dinghy Sailing Scheme; the Youth Sailing Scheme; the Powerboat Scheme and the Emergency First Aid Scheme.
Our dedicated training team of volunteers consists of qualified RYA instructors and assistant instructors who deliver all of our RYA training courses.
