Two morning sessions.
Bookings will close one clear day before the event.

Please note that the course fee payment is required before the booking application will be considered. Payment details are provided as part of the booking application process; these are also available from the Training & Instructors Guide page in the Members’ Area of the website. Applications for course places will be acknowledged by email once payment has been received and confirmed. Please allow a week from the date of the payment bank transfer for this acknowledgement.

The number of places available for each course depends on instructor numbers as well as age and experience of the candidates involved. In the event that a course is fully subscribed there is the option to be placed on a waiting list, although a number of alternative courses are normally available for booking throughout the season.

Places will not be allocated until the fee payment for each course has been received. Confirmation of a course place or your position on the waiting list will be sent to you by mid-March or two weeks after application, whichever is the later.

Cancellation of a course place by an applicant less than 14 days prior to the start of the course will result in the course fee being payable. Course Joining Instructions and Medical Forms will be sent to you shortly before the relevant course.

All course members are required to purchase the relevant RYA logbooks, if they do not already possess them from previous training courses. Also available and recommended are the companion handbooks, which give more details of the syllabi and detailed training guidance. Books can be purchased from the RYA, via the RYA books logo our website homepage, and are also available at the Club.

As all courses are normally oversubscribed, please only apply for a place if you are reasonably sure you will be able to attend all sessions.

Subject to overall demand, we will try to accommodate at least your first two choices of course, where possible and dependent on the date your application is received.
