Club Training (Junior)
A single session for juniors who can already sail, focussing on the 'Five Essentials,' aiming to build confidence, increase wind awareness and polish skills, resulting in better and more enjoyable sailing. Participants will be taught in either Oppis, Toppers, Fevas (single-household) or their own boat.
The session will consist of six juniors supported by a parent or guardian each and divided into two groups of 3 juniors (and parent/guardians).
Each session should be booked individually. Bookings are limited to a maximum of two Club Training (Junior) sessions per participant; this may be relaxed at a later date, subject to overall demand for places.
A parent or guardian must attend with each junior and will be required to be actively involved onshore for the purposes of rigging, launching, recovering and stowage of dinghies. The juniors will be improving their sailing and confidence on the water, but we hope to give parents knowledge and confidence to rig, launch, recover and stow the boats independently with their children. No session booking is required for the parent or guardian.
