Club Training - morning (Adult/Household and Junior)
For Adults and Juniors who can already sail, focussing on the 'Five Essentials,' aiming to build confidence, increase wind awareness and polish skills, resulting in better and more enjoyable sailing. Participants will generally be taught in Club single-handed dinghies, double-handers (single-household), or their own boat.
The session will have separate Adult and Junior groups, and places should be booked individually for each group.
The Junior group will consist of three juniors supported by a parent or guardian each. A parent or guardian must attend with each junior and will be required to be actively involved onshore for the purposes of rigging, launching, recovering and stowage of dinghies. The juniors will be improving their sailing and confidence on the water, but we hope to give parents knowledge and confidence to rig, launch, recover and stow the boats independently with their children. No session booking is required for the parent or guardian.
