  Chris White wins RYA National Award

  Congratulations to Chris White who received recognition for his time and effort dedicated to the sailing club from HRH Princess Anne at the annual RYA Volunteer Awards ceremony in London last November. Chris received an RYA Lifetime Commitment Award for his years of quiet and consistent support, advice and expertise; a classic unsung hero, always willing to help and a lynch-pin in the development of the club and of countless youth and adult sailors.

  Charity Raft Race in aid of East Cheshire Hospice, Saturday 11th June

  THANK YOU The Social Committee would like to thank everyone who assisted in the organisation of the this year's charity Raft Race in aid of the East Cheshire Hospice. Thank you to all who helped set up on Friday and Saturday, those who assisted during the event and not least those members who braved the weather on Sunday morning whilst getting the boats back into their correct places and took down the gazebos.

  What a fantastic celebration weekend! From the social sailing to the hog roast to the camp-over to the cooked breakfast to the Bandit Trophy racing - even the weather was perfect. Thanks everyone for making it such a special event. Don't forget we have our annual social sail / camp over / team challenge weekend coming up on 9th/10th July - so we can do it all over again
