Club Race Coaching

For adults and juniors new to racing or wanting to start racing. Sessions will explore different elements of racing; start sequence, starting, mark rounding, rules, upwind and downwind sailing. Participants will be taught in either Oppis, Toppers, Neos, or their own boat.

A parent or guardian must attend with each junior and will be required to be actively involved onshore for the purposes of rigging, launching, recovering and stowage of dinghies. The juniors will be improving their racing skills and knowledge on the water, but we hope to give parents knowledge and confidence to rig, launch, recover and stow the boats independently with their children. No session booking is required for an accompanying parent or guardian.

Each session should be booked individually. Bookings are limited to a maximum of two Race Coaching sessions per participant; this may be relaxed at a later date, subject to overall demand for places.
