SOLO OPEN at Redesmere SC - 25th May

A series of three closely-contested races provided opportunities, fun and challenge for a range of sailors, from regular Open Circuit racers through to committed Club and less-experienced racers. The weather was generally favourable with light winds from the North West, a fair amount of sun and, as usual, the food from the Social Committee was excellent. In true Redesmere spirit, those who couldn't make the day loaned out their own boats to interested Club Members for the event. After close raceing for first and second throughout the day , the overall winner was Jon Whitehead, with Tim Lowe second, whilst third place went down to wire with three sailors all on equal points going into the last race!
