From Sunday 8 November and throughout the Frostbite series you will be able to indulge in a plate of home-made soup and a roll at Sunday lunchtimes. No need to pre-order – turn up, sail (or not) and sup. The demand for a more substantial meal as well has dwindled over recent years and coupled with the earlier lunch break after the first race it has become increasingly difficult to lay anything on. So this year we have dropped the baked potatoes and fillings of previous years. Instead you may wish to try one of the range of artisan pies now on offer. Again, no need to pre-order – straight from freezer to microwave to plate whenever you want it.
