| Wilf
Ford Trophy
This (large!) trophy is awarded to the helm,
or crew, who has displayed the greatest
endeavour and progress in sailing ability
during the season. |
| |
| The
Oakes Trophy
Awarded to the highest placed helm in the
Club Championship who has never won any
other Redesmere trophy and who joined the
Club before 1st January 2006. {Richard Oakes
was a member of the club in the 60's and
seventies and won the Championship shield
for a total of 5 years in that period. Richard
died suddenly in 2001. His family have kindly
donated this trophy in memory of Richard
and his time at the club.} |

The
Submarine Trophy
It's the award which
everyone has a chance of winning. No matter
how skilled you are, no matter how many
years of sailing you have under your belt,
there will be that one time when you're
not concentrating and it all goes wrong
in front of the club house. The submarine
trophy is there to award the sailor who
performs the best mistake of the year. Many
great names have won this in previous years
– this year it just might be you!
