Powerboat Familiarisation
Powerboat training is available to anyone aged 16 or over. The course will only run in the spring when the fishermen have their closed season. Powerboat Familiarisation Training is offered to any member who has not had experience of driving a powerboat and needs to understand what is expected when doing Club Safety Boat duties.
Powerboat RYA Levels 1 & 2
Each course comprises of four Thursday evenings of both practical and theory sessions. You do not need any previous experience to take a level 1 or 2 course. To participate in the subsequent level RYA Safety Boat you must hold Level 2 and be a competent powerboat driver suitably experienced.
