Redesmere is a very friendly club that meets the needs of all types of sailors - racing, training courses, junior sailing, social events both on and off the water.
We are situated some 5 miles from Macclesfield, Cheshire, close to Capesthorne Hall. Location

World Champion - Elliot Hanson
Congratulations to Elliot Hanson for winning the Topper World Championships at Tralee Bay Sailing Club in Ireland. Achieving 6 first positions and 3 second positions, Elliot was able to claim top position over a combined fleet of 176 boats. What a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations also to all Redesmere sailors who entered the event. For those of you who don’t know the large fleet is split into 2 on the first day of racing, Gold and Silver. Every Redesmere traveller made it into the Gold fleet which is a great result for everyone involved.

National Champion - Elliot Hanson
Elliot has now added Topper National Champion to his other wins at the world and inland championships. As far as we know nobody has achieved this feat within the Topper Class in modern times. There was also good success for other Redesmere Sailors with Joe getting 10th, Adam Millington 42nd and James Asquith a very creditable 68th.
